Some of you may have taken out several mortgages in your lifetime and you know all about what’s involved. But as a real estate agent, I find that many of my buyers have never had a mortgage or they’ve only had a few. After all, it’s not something you go out and get once a week. The whole financing thing can be confusing and when you couple that with also looking for a new house, the whole process can be a bit overwhelming.

What I have tried to accomplish with this site is to explain in layman’s terms a little about home financing. Keep in mind that I’m a real estate agent, not a loan officer. Your lender will need to address your specific questions, but maybe by browsing the site you will at least know some of the questions to ask.
